1. A mammal is an animal that has hair or fur on some part of it's body

2. A mammal is an animal that gives birth to live babies, and not eggs that need to hatch.

3. A mammal is an animal that has mammory glands, which is how the baby gets nutrients from the mother in the form of milk.
