the big and small Temples in the cities is where Mayans held religious cereamonies and rituals.

The temples is where they practiced their religion.

These temples had only three rooms and inside was not a lot of space.

These temples were built on platforms made of stone.

As you go up the platforms get smaller and smaller.

At the top of the platforms was the temple itself.

The roof of the temple was usually decorated with art.
