This website has been made for your unit of study on the Thirteen Colonies. Here we are going to explore what life would have been like over 250 years ago, what the economy looked like, and how the government kept control of the colonies. We are also going to take a look at the town you call home, Lexington, Massachusetts, to see the role the town played during colonial days and at the beginning of the fight for independence. The Revolutionary War began in Lexington but it is also important to study events leading up to the "shot heard 'round the world."
